4 held over missing of 3 girls from Pallabi

Police arrested four people in a case filed in connection with three teenagers missing from Pallabi area of the capital on Sunday.

The arrestees are identified as Md Tariqullah (19), Md Rakibullah (20), Zinnia alias Tiktok Zinnia Rose (18), and Sharfuddin Ahmed Ayon (18).

The elder sister of one of the missing teenagers filed a complaint at Pallabi Police station on Friday accusing four persons under the Women and Child Repression Prevention Act.

She feared that they lured the girls and sending them abroad.

Sajib Khan, the Sub-inspector of Pallabi Police Station, confirmed the information to the media.

On September 30, the three girls left home and their phones were switched off. One of them took Tk 6 lakh in cash, another took gold ornaments and the other took Tk 75,000 and several mobile phones from their houses.
